Mark amp through a bass cab?

Has anyone run their Mark through a 1x15, 2x10 or 4x10 bass cab? Especially interested in the 1x15. What are/were your thoughts? Am I being stupid thinking about doing that? I'd like to pair my Mark iia and, my Mark iii Red Stripe combos with a 15" Cab for a bigger low end expression.

I'm just curious if anyone has anything to offer on that train of thought.

You're not stupid unless I am too.

I have a Mark III blue stripe combo and I run a Mesa Diesel bass 1x15 with the EVM15L in it and I love it. I seen a cheap 1x15 for sale and when I looked at speaker specs for the EVM12L and EVM15L they were very similar so I gambled on it. Got that low end extension I was after and it blended perfectly with the EVM12L in the combo and I always run those 2 speakers together now.

I also use that 1x15 for a Peavey 5150 by itself and love it. If I could only use 1 speaker it'd be a EVM15L in a closed back combo.
