Hi,

recently I noticed that my Mark 4 Combo lead channel volume switch is maybe broken, it seems to be stuck somewhere. There is no noticable change in tone or volume when i turn it.

Could this in any way not be a defect ?
The lead drive and lead gain switch works.

(sorry if switch isnt the right word, its the thing that goes from 1 tot 10 :)

thank you for your help

Hans

It's a bit confusing, as the push/pull part of the knobs are commonly referred to as switches. The knobs are called pots, or knobs, but not switches.

So in other words, the knob that is to the immediate left bottom of the GEQ does nothing when you turn it? If you are actually in the lead channel, that knob will always do something, and something really important actually. The shaft of the pot could have become detached from the wiper of the pot, or the pot may have become disconnected or something. Anyway, you want to get it fixed, and taking it to a tech is the easiest way most likely.

Thats indeed what I'm talking about, too bad because, the AMP was at my technician some months ago. (for another issue)
:(
