Mark 2 B Lead Rythmn Switch

I just acquired a Lead /Rythmm switch to use with my Mark 2 B. What are some settings or tricks you have used?

Hey the pedal does not switch channels, No red light? I can switch channels with the Knob out. Is there a relay connected to the footswitch input that may have an issue?

So what is the problem. I know on my mark III all of the channel knobs have to pushed in for the pedals to work. Maybe its the same deal.

With all the knobs in the pedal does not light, nor does it seem to do anything. Not a pop. I never used the lead/Rythmn input before after owning this amp for five years. I always used the pull knob to switch channels. I picked up a mesa switch box and it does not work. The box is pretty simple and looks fine ( a switch, input for 1/4 plug, red led all connected). I wondered if this is the new box or old amp?

Picked up another rythmn switch box(with the rythmn 1 and 2 on the silver sticker llike the one for a Mark3). It works! I compared the two and the one that works has a resistor inside.
