[Mountain Fever]

Good Morning.

Friday afternoon I took delivery of my first Mesa Boogie amp, a LSS. I had ordered it almost three months ago and waited (im)patiently for its arrival. It was well worth the wait.

I ordered a custom finish of Congac Lizard with a Tan grille. It is absolutely stunning, which met my goal of having something that looked as good as it would sound.

In an effort to draw on your expertise and help with the learning curve, I would really appreciate any setups that you have found bring out the best the amp has to offer.

I'm really looking forward to getting the sound 'right'.

Do a search on lss and you'll find many threads on settings, including this one. You need to retube the amp though - the Mesa tubes suck for channel 2 in my opinion.
