LSC dies and comes back

I had a problem with the amp over the last couple of nights.

1st all new tubes Mesa in preamp and JJs in power along with rect.

The other night while in the 50W tweed mode and tube rect I was playing at low volume and the amp just stopped producing sound. No smoke, blown fuses or what not. I switched it diode rect and it worked. Then the next night while with diode rect it stopped again so I switched it back to tube rect and it started working again.

Any ideas?

Try bypassing or jumping or cleaning the effects loop jacks, every time I've lost power like that (except once when it was a burned screen resistor) it's been the loop. You can at least try those things for free

Thanks. You mean to flip the switch to hard bypass? I will try that.
