It may be brand new but seems like the price is big as new's. People can get new of these for that price from stores.

I have never even seen a demo in a store. I was in one store (Local GC) who had one in stock only because the guy who ordered it died !!!
my point also

it took 13 long weeks for me to recieve the triaxis after ordering it....

I don't really know anyone who would pay that price from someone on ebay that won't even put a picture of the item up there. You only have pictures of the box and the manual.

ohhh....well that changes everything!!!!

One of the great values of Mesa is that the warranty is transferable -- unlike companies like Bogner, etc. So one doesn't necessarily have to buy from the store to get that warranty (with some caveats of course).

However, I do agree that you will be hard pressed to find anyone who will pay full retail to anyone other than the actual retail store. And even then, many of the bigger retailers will discount the amps via back channels (e.g. throw in something free, or heavily discount another item purchased in conjunction) to avoid violating Mesa's non-discount policy.

You are not getting that from eBay.....plus the after sale service you'll get from some stand-up retailers

I wonder if that is what happened here.

Also the warranty is not really "full", it started the date you purchased the amp. So it is almost a 5 year warranty but not quite the full 5 year warranty.

Plus if you order it from boogie it's like they built it for you. You can't get that secondhand.
