have my dream rig built..now if only i could get my dream rig silent.

on the top is a short mark iv B, and the bottom is the medium chassis A.

i run an NS-2 before the a/b/y switch (lava flow) which is built to bypass all ground loop hum.

in the effects loop i run a dbx 266 gate/compressor which quiets all noise down to a medium volumed low pitched hum.

this is where i am stuck. no matter what i try i always have a low pitched ground hum. i tried a ground lift. i tried one head at a time and bypassing the lava flow. i tried different outlets. short of plugging the heads into two different outlets (which is sometimes unrealistic in a live setting) ive run out of ideas.

both heads have 6 month or newer tube sets. both have exact pitch and volume hum..it gets bad if i put the master anwhere past 2.

ideas, comments, complaints??
