Looking for delay advice.

Hi all,
I'm looking to change/upgrade the delay I'm running through my Dual Rectifier. Right now I just using a BOSS DD-3 which IMO is an ok pedal but, just isn't wowing me so much. I want something that will work with the unmodded parallel effects loop...can anyone offer me some advice? I've been leaning towards the Line 6 DL4 or the Electro Harmonix Memory Man (neither of which I'm sure will work with the parallel effects loop).

I use the boss DD20 and have no problems with it in the loop of a 2009 3ch .

I have read of problems with the Line 6 stuff in the unmodded loop so beware. But I've also read of problems with the DD20 and never had them so who knows

If you want to go the analog route (although it sounds from your choices that you might prefer more bells and whistles), the mxr carbon copy is great and i've gigged it in a single rec with parallel loop and also out front. Verty much recommended

Looks like we're going with the DD20. Liked the Carbon Copy, but is a little pricey for the lack of features. Thanks guys

yikes dont take this advice, imo putting a delay in front of your amp sounds horrible. i use a tce nova repeater and its pretty awesome as far as digital fx go. lots of different delay types (although honestly the differences are subtle at best), tap tempo and its really easy to dial in different time divisions. i used it with the parallel loop but i just didnt like the sound of my amp when i used it, the series mod is really easy and it made the world of difference
