Looking for an affordable combo, need advice!

well guys, I had to sell my dual recto

I needed some money quick to pay some vet bills, and would like to buy a smaller combo amp.

I play mostly rock/metal but I can really appreciate a good clean tone (so I'd be willing to sacrifice some gain for a good lead and clean)

any ideas?

I was thinking about the F series or the DC


what aboot the studio .22?


what do you guys think?

Dc-5 112 combo or DC-3 112 combo. You can always add a thiele 112 cab later on for extra thump. You might be surprised that you don't need all that much gain to have a good tone.

What is your budget?

I still have my mesa 4x12 cab so I could always use that if I wanted to.

I agree. The DC series is going to be your best option, for the money.
