I'm looking for a used high end stereo delay and on a budget of £100 - £150.

Apart from the EHX Stereo Memory Man and the TC Electronic Nova Delay is there anything else i should be looking at? Not a fan of Boss pedals by the way.

Any help would be much appreciated :D

If you can wait until Aug-Dec, you will be rewarded with a new Boss DD-7 Digital Delay. It loops (40 secs), DM-2 analog mode, stereo ins/outs.. it looks phenomenal.

The Nova delay is an incredible value for what it delivers...really a keeper in my book.

My $.02

Thanks guys. Need to replace my DD-3 asap as i sold it and don't have another delay but that Boss does look very interesting. Maybe one for the future!

I've heard a lot of good things about the Nova delay too. I think it might just have edged it for me :)

Cheers

Yeah i'd love to have one for recording but like you said...not stereo :)

Bought the TC Nova Delay for £126 on the bay. Bargain :D

The ND1 is good. I was playing with a L6 DL4, Boss DD3, and DD6 vs my ND1.
Head to head, it wasn't close, and it wasn't just my ears. ND1 is very organic and sensitive.
I would like to check out the Timefactor, but the latest TC pedal definately raises the standard for delay.

The TC Nova sounded good from the clips I heard. Plus it has presets which is really nice. I have the EH SMMH but I gave the TC Nova a hard look.

I'm borrowing a Nova delay from my friend. I was going to buy it from him but i think I'm going to pass on it, the Nova hasn't won me over. I'm using it through a Mark III and it works ok, but i find the dynamic delay is a real pain in the ass to get to work consistently. If you calibrate the delay on the clean channel it won't work the same if you calibrate it on the lead channel.

The tap function and presets work fine. The mod sounds are a little sterile sounding to me. I do have a DD-2 and the Nova can do a good enough job at sounding close to that.

If you have the extra dough the Timefactor is the delay to have.

I need to take back anything bad i said about the Nova. I found out it's best to calibrate it on the clean channel, then it works great. I love how the dynamic delay works now. Great pedal, works in the loop, and it doesn't rob ANY tone. I'm now going to buy it form my friend.

The Boss DD7 is the best I have heard so far. I still like the Line 6 delays a bunch but the Boss DD7 is so much cleaner. I just bought one today for $160 no tax.
