Hi, I'm looking for a high-gain Mesa Combo. I've currently got a Lonestar Classic and, while it's clean's are perfect, I want something with higher gain. I'd be happy to trade or buy your amp outright. I've owned a Mark III and an F-100 and, while those are great amps in their own way, the Mark III killed me because of the volume difference between the R1 and R2 channels and the F-100 didn't have always have enough gain for me- it usually had enough but not always. I think I'm looking for a Mesa amp that ends in -o-verb (and begins with a rect or a trem), but I'm really not sure. I've heard cool things about Mark IV's too. I've heard that the Road King's are cool but expensive. Okay, I'm rambling now, but if you've got a Mesa high gain combo you'd like to get rid of, let me know (my e-mail address is [email protected]). Thanks!

Hey man, I'm in Dothan, AL, area code 36303. I'd love to see some pic's of your amp if you don't mind sending me some,

Thanks a lot!

The Tremoverb is a great amp. I might work out a trade with a friend of mine for his Tremoverb. He lent it to me for a weekend and I was very impressed with it.

Another great Mesa amp is the DC-3 or DC-5 or DC-100 depending on how much power you will need.

The Clean channel on the DC's sounds very Fenderish. I've compared my DC-5 to my blackrfaced Fender Pro Reverb. While the Fender's Reverb is much more lush, the tone itself is very close, but the DC stays cleaner longer. The Pro Reverb starts to breakup fairly early, but that's a large part of it's charm.

I could be wrong, but I think the DC series of amps do not have reverb- is that right?

DC's have a very nice tube driven spring reverb on both channels...footswitchable too!

Did you get the email I sent about offering my DC-10 up for sale?

Hey man, I got it and accidentaly deleted it- sorry, but thanks for getting back up with me!

If I remember right, the DC 10 is a 212. My back really can't handle that kind of weight. I really appreciate it though. I feel bad for losing your e-mail address.
