Lonestar footswitch question

Did a search of posts and could not find what I was looking for. Does the stock footswith on the Lonestar have a 1/4" out or the 5 pin-type. I know the amp has 1/4" inputs on the back. (the Express series has the 5 pin connection, but separate 1/4" inputs for aftermarket footswitches)

My LSS has a stereo 1/4" jack on the front for channel select/solo boost. Can't remember what's on the back, but I know it's not the DIN-type cable.

What is the purpose of two identical footswitch jacks?

The front ones are typically easier if you're using the actual footswitch; the rear ones are typically easier if you're wiring it into some big MIDI-fied rack setup.

The front has a TRS 1/4" jack. The back panel has two TS 1/4" jacks for Channel and Solo. Download the manual at mesaboogie.com for pics and explanations...
