I recently picked up a used 4X12 which is rated at 8ohm. I plugged my lonestar head into (using 8ohm jack) and played on the clean channel for a few minutes, everything sounded great. Switched to channel two and instantly amp cut out then went dead. Did I just blow a fuse? Possibly the cab was rewired, I checked and all 4 speakers are 8ohm, and appears to be wired Series/parallel, except the bottom two speakers are not wired together (pos to neg), only the top two.

How do I tell if the fuse is blown? I normally only play on 50watt setting, but had 100watt setting on, not sure if that makes a difference.

edit - I meant to post this in the Lonestar forum, can it be moved there?

You can check the fuse...it's on the amp's back plate. Usually just push it in and twist counter-clockwise about 1/4 turn. Check the manual too.

Should be the fuse or a tube. Your manual should show a couple of wiring diagrams for 4X12 cabs.
