-Disney is coming out with Guita hero like game ,but with actual guitar involved-can "game" with it/has learning modes as well

I'd be interested to see what the learning modes were like. The gameplay looked like your typical GH format, just with a whole fretboard to play with instead of 4 notes. But if the learning modes were to go as far as teaching chords and scales then it could be very interesting and actually be a useful tool for an aspiring guitarist. Simply responding to on-screen stimuli isn't going to help people learn anything about guitar, other than where to put your fingers when the screen tells you to.

I doubt that the software is at this point yet, but imagine how awesome it could be if they were able to incorporate factors like string bends, chord progressions, pinch harmonics and all of the other little nuances that make playing the guitar so much more than simply plucking out single notes. Now THAT would be a game i'd be interested in playing!!!

The only glaring downside is see is that you're saddled with a 3/4 scale guitar, and even worse, likely a whole bunch of Disney tunes. I'm really not into learning the licks from High School Musical, Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

Nice to see this kind of thing being developed though.
