Hey Rabies, If this comes up as a second response, its because the first didn't post right away. I am using Lava ELC's and really like them. The tweed version is a bit stiff, but that doesn't bother me. It does lay flat, sounds good, and is a quality made cable. The regular black ELC cables are more pliable, lay flat, and also work really well. The Neutrik connector is a keeper. You get a very secure connection to your guitar with it, and it is silent.
Mark was very easy to work with. I ordered from him a few times, and each time, the delivery was very fast.
I went to LAVA's after my ProCo Excalibur went bad, and shortly after a Mogami went bad. The Mogami going bad was particularly frustrating. It was a loop cable that I hadn't owned that long and had only been plugged and unplugged about 6 times. Grrrrrr.
