Is it possible to get a Laptop that is aimed at musicians???

It would be really handy if my next Laptop had all the connections i need to go into a Mixer. Most Laptops only seem to have a small headphones output now which is not very handy for musicians.

Just a set of din plug stereo outs would be nice

I'm not an expert in the field and those who are should chime in but ...


So long your laptop has a 2.0 USB port you could get those USB interface($99 - $199) that has I/O, mic input(s), RCA and / or 1/4" jacks which you lug around with your laptop.

Lexicon, M-Audio, E-mu to name a few brands.

That ought to get the ball rolling. :wink:
