KT88s in a Rectifier?

I've seen some guys trying 88's before, seems to be a lot of mixed opinions. But, I can't imagine I would like them. I spend my time dialing low end out of the Recto to sit in the mix better...if I felt like they were clashing with the sub-lows and interfering with the kick drum and bass guitar when used in a JCM 800, I could only imagine what they would do in a Recto. Playing in a room by myself, they sounded great. Put them in a mix with the band and they started blurring lines I didn't want to cross. All my opinions, of course.

Do you think the heater voltages would be close enough?

Basically, I have a set of KT88s and will have a bias pot soon. Seems like I probably wouldn't like them because of the lows, but why not throw 'em in and try if they work!
