Koch,THD or....?

Wanted anyones input reguarding power Attenuators. I have seen alot in here leaning twards the Hot Plate,but wondering if anyones got knowlege on the KOCH loadbox II. Heard the THD robs tone?I need a way to push my Trident harder in the power section,but also wouldnt mind trying it on my DR head as well.
Also, the DR gets hooked up with a 16 ohm cab..the Trident,1 or 2 8ohm cabs.
So,I dont want to buy one for 8 another for 16...AGGGGRRRRRH..

If the ohm difference is important to you, either look elsewhere...but The hotplates are very good...it's not the same and cranking a mesa, but it helps when playing low.

I think it would be worth your money to get two hotplates. Or you could run the dual recto with a different cab when using the hotplate.
