I did some recording practice today. I tried to get a nice warm chorus sound, akin to the intro of knockin.

It's self-titled.

I used a Mark III with a Les Paul and had it on the SD Alnico II pro, I wanted to try and get a bit of a open sound so I recorded it with a SM57 and overdubbed it with a apex condensor mic that was located behind the amp. I think it turned out alright! I only have on XLR cord so I couldn't record both at the same time, but it sounds decently in time haha.

EDIT oh yes, and I used a Boss CE-5 chorus ensemble pedal as well!

hey sounds great!
what are your settings on the chorus pedal, i would like to compare them with mine. i'm in a guns n roses and aerosmith coverband. the mark sounds great, i'm thinking about getting one next to my stiletto wich does more than a great job.

greets
Dag

Simple! E. Level dialed full, rate left at 12 oclock, depth at 12 oclock and low on around 9 and high around 3! I changed the depth to around 3 when I rerecorded it!
