Hi, I just bought a King Snake that is in pristine condition. I want to get a back-up set of power tubes for it. Right now it has the Mesa 440s in it. I see on Sweetwater that there are several options....448, 443, 445, and 425. So confused. And then Humbucker has 441 on sale.
I tend to lean to more of a brighter tone. What do you suggest. And the current ones are spec'd as "red." Should I get the red spec'd versions of doesn't it matter?
