Kevin Eubanks tone.

So I'm watching Leno last night and Kevin goes into his typical licks and the tone seems oddly familiar. I get up this morning and plug in my cheap Arbor strat copy into my Rectoverb, toggle to the middle PU, set the tone control (the middle knob) to about 5, set the guitar volume knob to about 7 and bam....there it is. I heard rumor that he uses a Blue Angel and Abe Rivera custom guitars.

My settings on the amp are: ALL SETTINGS ARE O'CLOCK
2nd Channel
Vintage
Gain 2 o'clock
Treble 2
Mid 11
Bass 2
Presence 11
Master 9
Output 9 (or 1st setting that gets above the off position)
Reverb 10

On his site he mentions something about trying a Son of a Boogie...
I saw some of his Abe Rivera's...good grief....they're beautiful...
