Just shipped a C+ out to California and it has a problem..

now with the volume. The buyer has to hit the amp on the top to get the volume to come up. any ideas as to what the prblem could be? The tubes were all wrapped separately and the amp was packed for a nuclear war. Never had this problem previous to shipping.

Possible the wiring came loose on the volume pot?

Have him run a patch cable through the loop. If that does not work, have him wiggle the Volume 1, Master and Lead Master Volume knobs after he bangs it into run mode.
