Marshall thought they had 2007 in the bag with the VM series but Mesa have done a dirty great **** on them. Again........lol

I just got rid of a 3 month old Marshall JVM410 100W Combo and bought an Express 5:50. awesome amp. Blows the Marshall away

Full marks on the cleans and lead. Distortion sounds like *** in my opinion. Pretty sweet if you're not doing metal.

Anybody own a 5:25? How does it compare to this demo of the 5:50?

I've heard via Harmony Central that there are differences (the 5:50 is "better"). Gotta take those HC reviews with a grain of salt tho.

Sounds pretty sweet indeed. Very warm.
I like the "just about overdriven" sound and harmonic content.
