I was looking over a photo and article on JP's rig on page 83 of the July issue of Guitar Player. The large photo at the top of the page shows a couple of Mesa cabs that are supposedly JP's sandwiched between a rack with Ampeg gear and a Peavey half-stack that looks like a JSX.

The photo is confusing because it says "Petrucci's custom rack..." and yet the only rack in the picture looks like it's for a bassist and the only guitar amplifier in sight is a Peavey half-stack. Is that picture just poorly captioned and perhaps from JP's recent G3 tour with Satch and Paul Gilbert? That would likely explain the Peavey. Or does JP sometimes actually use a Peavey (which would be heresy)?

Just curious and I figured some Petrucci-lovin' Mesa fan would know the answer.

it's very likely a G3 pic because when I saw them I saw his rack with his Mark IVs
