his tone is changing to coincide with the muscles and goatee. as he gets larger and larger his tone goes ballsier.. and his goatee becomes viking like... in that second clip he was still lean and clean ....

if he gets any larger he'll have to start playing an 8 string with the low string tuned to G.. ahhahaha

I love all of his tones.. but enjoy SFAm the most... althogh Awake and the new album are 2nd in my book now.

Yeah, that second video of the c+ rig was Petrucci's pinnacle of tone. I've never heard tone better than that.

Yeh great

I especially liked the rhythm tone - dark and powerful and then it autoplayed
to Spookbox - is that your band ?
