jj tubes for mark IV

are EL34 jj tubes within the range of the mark4 since it's fixed bias?

If you get them from a reliable vendor, just tell them it's for a Mesa, and they'll hook you up with a set which is within the appropriate current draw range.

Not sure about 'boxguitar', but some of the vendors that gets a lot of mention here is Eurotubes (www.eurotubes.com) and Doug's Tubes (www.dougstubes.com).
