JJ KT77's in a Tremoverb?

Has anyone had a chance to try the new JJ KT77's in a Tremoverb or perhaps even a Dual Recto? I am ready for a retube and currently use and enjoy the JJE34L's but wouldn't mind a change. From what I've heard the KT77's are supposed to bridge the gap tonally between 6L6's and EL34's. For those that have tried these tubes is this true? What can I expect?
