JJ EL84 opinions

Hello,
Just picked up a 1x12 Crate Vintage Club 30 (the first Crate I've heard that sounds pretty good) and I was wondering what anyone thought of the JJ EL84s. Also, which EL84s are you favorite?

JJ EL84s are some of the best I've played. VERY close to NOS but MUCH less expensive!

Get a set. They're (relatively) cheap. I'm sure you'll love them!

Do JJ El84's have different ratings like Groove Tubes? Or are they all the same?

How do you know if it's safe to put them in your Mesa?

Different tubes will be different.

Best way to get JJ's if you dont know what your amp is looking for (on class A amps you dont really have to worry) then buy Groove Tube EL84S tubes with a hardness b/w 4 and 6......those will be JJ's and will be in the Mesa range.
