Right I'll keep it short and sweet, this guy is simple amazing at constructing guitar riffs

Does any one else agree with me

I'd say it is, he's just such an amazing musician, also after watching some interviews of him on the net, he seems like a very down to earth, laid back type of guy, what more could you want from a musician, in my opinion this guy should go down in history as another guitar legend, also in my opinion I actually think he's the next Jason Becker, he's that good of a guitarist

My old drummer has been friends with Jeff for a very long time. From my time around him he is a very cool person.

Jason who ? ..... just kidding.

jeff rules! i got introduce to his music not too long ago. i love the new cd, its the perfect balance between riff, melody and solos! and of course killer riffs! and the best name for a song "shouting fire at a funeral" haha. also, he's got a beckerish tone from time to time with some petrucci i there too xD

Yeah, Loomis rules. He's without a doubt my favorite guitarist, and a big influence on my playing, as far as both rhythm and lead techniques.

you should try "shouting fire at a funeral" and "sacristy" the whole CD is really good but these are my favourites, also "jato Unit"
