Is this normal?????

Yesterday I way playing my stiletto for about fifteen minutes when all of the sudden my volume crapped out almost completly. I quicly noticed that my fx loop was switched to the on position but I had nothing plugged in to the send or return. I switched the fx loop off and sound returned. Is this a normal occurance or is there any thing I should be worried about? :?:

Hi,

When you mentioned that your sound returned after switching the loop off, did you end up switching the loop back on to see if there was sound coming through?

First thing i would check is the 12ax7 that is responsibile for the loop, swap it over and see if that helps any.
