is this a mark IV "A" or "B"?

Yes, this has an output used for satillite amps. It is non-owered. In other words it goes out to another amp, not speaker. The FX send has two FX returns. I haven't used this configuration, but it's designed to give you stereo by sending one.

i am thinking of getting this but i would prefer a mark IV B.

I think it's a "B"

show pics of the back side of the amp or a date when it was build

that way we can be more sure

The "A version has dual effects loops. 1 that's on all the time, the other is switchable from the foot controller.....
and the "A" does not have the satellite out.
