well it's a month later and the pinky is still stiff at the knuckle...I cant make a proper clenched fist with my pinky, it winces with pain but I have not gone to the hospital yet either like a *******...

but I can play but its probably going to have to be re broken or something.... sucks that i already started rehearsals on a new coverband....
 
Take a rubber band, wrap it around your thumb and pinky and so little pinky workouts. You can also hold a pencil like your writing, put a rubber band around the "Lead end" and do finger raises. To do the adduction, just put the band over the top of the hand. Doesn't have to be a big band, but a small newspaper type, and try to do fifty to hundred reps.
Also, make sure when you sleep you are not crushing your hand under a pillow or large breast. Sounds simple, but I was wadding up my paws when I slept making the injury worse. Instead of using a splint I made a couple of "Hand cutouts out of a cardboard box and taped my finger to the cutout for a week or so.
