i've got a roadster head and a rectifier 4x12 and 2x12 that i want to wire altogether. both cabs are 8 ohms and i've got one 8 ohm jack on the amp, but 2 4 ohm jacks. do i wire the cabs into the 2 4 ohm jacks or do i run them parallel thru the 8 ohm? and if i run them parallel, how do i wire that? thanks for any help

If both cabs are 8-ohms, plug them both into the 4-ohm jacks on the amp. To parallel them, plug one into a 4-ohm on the amp, and the output on that cab to the input on the other.

It ammounts to the same thing...the only advantage you get connecting the cabs together is if your speaker wires aren't long enough to reach the bottom cab of the stack. Running separate cables to each cab is essentially the same as using heavier-gauge wire...a good thing.
