Hey guys. I used to frequent here quite a bit back when I owned a Mark IV (I also went through a IIC+ conversion and V). I strayed away for the past couple of years and decided to get another Mark IV. It has always been my top 2 favorite amps and decided to get another to compliment my Fortin modded Marshall. Definitely feels good to be back in the fold.
I haven't had much time to play with the amp yet (heading out of town on a business trip). On the spare of the moment I thought I would do a quick clip of me playing over a backing track I made a while back of Dream Theater's Lines In The Sand solo. I did a version with my Anderson Classic playing in the neck single coil mode primarily. I love that pickup position for lead and is a little more true to the tone Petrucci got on the studio version. I decided to do a version with my Anderson Drop Top that is quite a bit more hot.
Please excuse the flubs. I did these in one take and left it as is. Either way, it is fun to have this amp back.
