I posted in a sub forum on here a week or so ago and the place gave me gas. I used to have a Stiletto, DC50, dual, triple and a rectoverb in the past...

But it's been a year or so. So nice to hear that wall of sound.

I went through the same thing. Used a 2 Channel dual rec for several years then stopped gigging and switched to a THD BiValve, that was nice - lots of tweaking options, but I needed more power and moved up to an F-50 and now on to a Nomad 100.

Marshalls can be ok, I had to use one as back line on some overseas touring, but it was always nice to get that full 6L6 kick in the chest.

Yep. I can't wait to mix the two when I record.

5150's record well, so I am thinking recto left, 5150 right, and the JCM800 holding it together down the middle.

Welcome back! I did the same thing when a took a quick trip to Randall MTS land. It was fun but I quickly grew tired of narrow sounding amps

I've alsways been curious about the MTS series. I take it the Recto modules just doesn't cut it?

You know how the recto has that super wide lowend? No other amp has that. Being a recto guy since the late
90s It didnt work for me. I had a Jaded Faith modded recto module. It definately had that recto vibe but the amp itself just didnt give that classic recto wallup. The Marshall MTS stuff is killer. The MTS is a lot of fun.
