I have a IIC+ that has D 3 handwritten with black marker on both sides of the chassis...any idea what this stands for. The amp is a short chassis simul class with reverb and a fan.

Thanks

check out the sticky at the top of the page.."C+ Guide for Dummies"..chassis codes are listed

If i remember right. Mesa could also have done the Reverb Mod on the Mark Amps. Which would mean, that there should be a "R" written somewhere on the back side of the Chassis under the Power Cord. In this case i would also look if you have the SP or RP Preamp Board. Don't know if you can change the SP Preamp Board for using Reverb. But the RP is the Preamp Board for the IIC+ Reverb Amps. But D 3 mean it came factory as a Simul Amp.

Where do I find that information? Here is a photo of the inside of the amp: http://www.shippingsidekick.com/imghub/inside_IIC+.jpg
