i think i might have a reverb circuit related problem and i want to bypass the reverb circuit completely to see if its causing the problem or not. however, i need to keep the EQ in. is there a way i can shut the reverb off but keep the EQ in without the footswitch? cause i dont have one.

i have already had the sleeves soldered together. Mike B did that when i sent it to mesa.

well, im just wondering because i dont have a footswitch, if i use a shorting jack, will it cut off the reverb and the EQ or just the reverb? because the problem has to be circuit related otherwise the grounding trick would have fixed it, and i just want to be able to bypass the reverb circuit completely so i can figure whats causing the problem.
