If I send my MKIIC+ head into Mesa for Mike to put EQ and Reverb on it would I be foolish not to put on Simul at the same time?
I really don't need to change the sound it makes now but I would like the EQ option and the reverb. The 100/60 power amp gives me plenty of head room and does an excellent job amplifying the preamp distortion.
The idea as I understand it is that the Simul adds more power amp distortion. But that really would only be true when cranked pretty loud.
I do have a simul, EQ, reverb combo so it isn't like I don't have that covered if I want it.
All this depends on whether they even can do this anymore. I thought someone posted that they didn't have anymore EQ modules.
What do you think?
