ideas for (Brown Sound) & grunge tone like Alice n Chains

Hey first time poster.......... Any ideas for (Brown Sound) & grunge tone like Alice n Chains using my Mark V head with Mesa 2x12 cab?
I've searched for both with little success, i realize its not a marshall or bogner form but with all the tone gurus which i am not i could use some advice getting me close
One main reason i bought this amp is i believed it could be very versatile for getting a few of my fav guitar players tone. Thanks so much.

AIC - Channel 2, crunch. Go easy on the gain and don't scoop the mids too much. Ride your guitar's volume knob to find the perfect amount of dirt. Bonus points for throwing EL34s in it.

EVH - No idea.
