I disagree that the pedal doesn't affect the tone. I find that whether I use the clean boost side or mid boost with my mark iii and v my tone become smoother, more polished, less edgy, and and slightly congested which I don't like. I like the pick attack, endless sustain, and incredible pinch harmonics I get with this pedal, but I wish it didn't take away from my mark iii's rawness and aggression.
