I have just ordered a RKII with 2X12 RK cabs!
They told me there will be a waiting time of 12 weeks or more.
Anyway, I was thinking that it will be a good time to get a good price for the accompanying accessories. Any recommendations?
And also, any advice for new owners?

eq for the loop.... maybe an od for infront if thats your thing.... but definitely an eq for the loop..... also when you get the rk read the manual and try the suggested settings in the back of the manual as a good starting point for creating your tone

Congrats on the RKII!

+1 for the OD out front, I like the Tubescreamer variety. A good Graphic EQ is nice as well.

A delay is always nice.

I ordered mine about 4 weeks ago and they told me about 8-10 weeks.
8-10, 10-12, at least it's on it's way................

Yeah, i have opted for the Wine Tarus with Gold grille tan leather handles and corners and camel pipings for the cab. real excited to see how it turns out to be
Yeah and one thing i forgot to mentioned. I wanted to thank all you guys for helping me made the decision. Expecially clutch and jdurso, thanks for those advices that you been providing.
and lastly, i am thinking of a hot plate, any comments? need that cos i think the amp will be home most of the time.

I am an official Mesa owner now.
The AMP HAS ARRIVED!!!
I tried the amp last night and it was fantastic!
you can get the cleanest cleans and the most brutal distortion! or i should say, everything!
and i am only running it at low volumes (8 o clock), i cant imagine it at higher volumes!
i will post some pics soon

did you get 2 cabs? you pluralized "cabs" in your first post. i ask becasue I've head good things about RK cabs.

i got a 2X12 cab.
I only figured out how to use one of them. The Road King has too many plugs! Anyway, i have called up Mesa and i am going to try some settings later.
Just imagine, i have only connected one of the speakers and it is already so overwhelming! i cant imagine with the rest of the speaker plugged in.
