I would like to see the same option as the assignable EQ for the EFX as well. Other than that, I really have no complaints... 8)

ch 1> clean , fat clean, Mark 1
Ch 2, edge , crunch, mark II C+ (with the old big sub low cap, or a switch to go between the two)
ch 3> Mark III, Mark IV, extreme (or whatever you wanna call it.. hows about To Infinity and Beyond!)

I guess putting in a a drive knob would be good too.

and a beer tap on top :)

Use a switchable multi voltage PT. With this feature alone, mesa will sell more mk v's. Better yet, make it standard for all models. Make mesa a touring amp.

Make the front panel digital to resemble the triaxis (which is basically what it is) so that every perameter can be saved or switched via midi and rename it "Triaxis II Head+"

That's exactly what I wrote in the warranty card questionnaire... EXPORT TRANSFORMER!!!

Well, if you're serious about badging, why don't you call Mesa and spend the $10 the badges cost and quit complaining? You just spent $2100 on an amp. Quit bitching

Also, there is no Mark V cab persay. It's in the same family as all the other widebody cabs, so the badging is the same.

has anyone called mesa to see if they will mod the amp in any way? is it possible to get that IIc+ cap value changed to the EQ model value?

That would be easiest mod ever, hell you could even make it switched. All I need is a few weeks with a Mark V to work out it's schematic.

Man, you are pretty self-righteous reading a thread that asks for an opinion and then the priggish side of you comes out judging the answers people give. Yeah, the badging should match for that cab. It's an opinion that you don't share so maybe I should change it based on your high post count that I'm almost certain contains no complaints or bitching as you put it. And the coincidence of that cab coming out with the same dimensions as the Mark V (the ONLY mesa cab 22 7/8" W with only one other cab being 22 1/2 " W), at the same time as the Mark V... yeah, they put that out so no one would be complaining about a non-matching (size) cab for their Mark V. But I guess if someone did complain, you'd have something to say about it.

I'm being light-hearted here. You're the one getting pissed off.

I posted my gripes in the FIRST complaint thread, which is only on the second page of the Mark V forum! My post count has nothing to do with ridiculous complaints.

JVK even says it himself. Every suggestion counts...unless it's plainly stupid

Again, call up Mesa, ask them for a couple Boogie badges. Explain you thought the ported cab would have a matching logo. They might even comp you one, for chrissake.

Whatever man, I'll take that as an apology then . I'm not trying to start anything here and know the badging is not a big deal. All I'm saying is that you are telling me I'm wrong for thinking that. I enjoy looking at my Mesas almost as much as playing them.

The Mark V, to me, is a great amp and the fact that I would only improve the logo consistency is a testament to it being that good of an amp in my eyes, but in an opinion thread you should respect other points of view, end of story... it's all good. Friends? Hug it out b*tch!

I would scrap the whole idea of the Mark V and give us what we wanted. A REAL IIC+ reissue and not the half-assed tone dead mode on the Mark V.

You said be honest. :D

Then you would have people on the board bitching about WHICH C+ that they re-issued. Some would prefer different options or the lack thereof. 60W, 100W, Simul, 180W Coli, Simul Coli, Reverb, Graphic EQ??? And then there's the whole EVM-12L issue  . See where I'm going with this?????
