How To USe Zoom Gfx-8 with Mark IK

Hi Guys,
i have received 2 weeks ago my MK IVA from the US. but i have spent all my money for it and i will have to wait a couple of months before buying the effects (G Major/Force or System).

I've got my old Zoom Gfx-8, can u suggest me how to use it properly without loosing any tubes sound? i tried to use it throught the switchable loop but when i turn it on, it sucks a lot of the quality sound..!

Sorry, but you hit the nail on the head with this statement.

You have a great amp and a mediocre processor with preamp.

The 2 just might not mix very well.

If there is a way to disable all preamp functions and just use the effects like chorus, delay, etc. without using distortion, this may be the ticket. Then you could use it in the loop.

If you use distortion or almost any preamp in the loop, it will sound like a turd. I've even tried using a compressor in my Mark IV's loop and had very little success.
