How do I identify what year model my triple rectifier is? Also, the last one I had had the purple power light on the front. My new one(or purchased used) has a red lamp on the front.

Thanks,
Chaz

Whats the serial number? Is it a 2 channel or 3 channel? The purple lense was probably added on by a previous owner. I think the rectifiers come standard with the red lense, but you could order a custom lense from mesa (i might be wrong). Also, you could always take the chassis out and look inside. A date should be hand written on the inside of the amp where the guys are.

The year was likely sometime in the early to mid 2000's. But If you want an exact date, pull the chassis out and look under the hood. the month and date are hand written on the inside with marker. Goodluck!
