How to hook up the bass amp to bass cabs

I really needs help here....Please help me out. I am appriciated your suggestions

I have a hartke 5500 bass amp. It stated that 500 Watts for 4 ohm and 350 watts for 8 ohms.

I have two mesa boogies powerhouse cabs. 1X15" and 2X10".

The 1x15" has 400 watts for either 8 or 4 ohms.
The 2x10" has 600 Watts for either 8 or 4 Ohms

Questions:

If I plug in both two cabs for my bass amp, hartke. Does it break my bass amp or bass cabs?

Because my bass amp can provide max 500 watts for 4 ohm and my cabs have more watts than my bass amp....

If I plug in only either 1x15" or 2X10" cab, the cab is still having more power watts than amp. Does it create any trouble to my cab......or amp

Are your cabs 8 ohms each or 4 ohms each.
