So the mark v has been out for several years now.

Has mesa done any changes to the amp since it's original release?

What about unofficial changed?

I read a thread where the changed from a bar to a cage?

Anything else?

They changed to a cage to cover the tubes. I believe the first run had issues with the lettering on the faceplate rubbing off that they fixed.

There may not be any official revisions, but when I sent my early Mk V (sn in the 500's) in for a problem with the Mk IV mode on Channel 3, they said there was a wiring update that they installed. It did fix the problem.

The bar to cage was on all their amps. I think it had something to do with changes to EU regulations.

Word is that there's been no circuit revisions, however their have been a few component changes do to suppliers.

Apologies for digging up an old thread but I think there may be different revisions of the MKV. If you look at this pic from this website

The tube laying down on its side is different to mine. Mine stands up vertically. Will try and get some pics when I get home.
