The tank is mounted in the bottom of the combo or head cabinet. It is separate from the chassis and connected by cables. You need to figure out where and how to attach the reverb tank to the bottom of the rack case. Some just forgo the tank and go without internal reverb. You could get a rack effects unit.theaero said:and I am confused about the reverb tank. Where is it located and how would it fit? Sorry, I am thinking about buying a M4 combo, but would wanna rack it. Where is the tank located in the rackmont mark iv heads? Wouldnt it be there for the combo as well?

Oh, and by the way, where are you going to stash the foot switch?
Be sure you don't buy a "wide body" combo, as they ain't rackable.
Some people like fans, some don't.
Me, I need all the fans I can get.
If you buy a combo, it will have a fan, and you can transplant it to the rack kit. There, I just saved you 30 bucks.
