Here's a couple of questions for those of you using Hotplates. When using the hot plate, do you get more amp noise at idle, as you turn up your master/gain than without using it? I saw that some of you were using a Hotplate with your Road Kings. Does it handle all 120 watts when you are using all 6 power tubes or do you limit your power section to 100 watts or less?

Thanks.

Naturally you would get more noise, but I did not hear it due to the noise reduction in the hotplate. It was actually pretty quite.

I do not use a road king, so I don't want to comment a lot on this, but the hot plate is rated for pretty high wattage, I would check their site or the manual on the wattage ratting and if you can keep that wattage lower and still like the sound, I would go that route.

Yes of course you will get more noise, but as was stated above that's what the noise reduction is for.
The Hotplate is rated for 185 watts max.
