Hooking up MKIV , channel switcher & Replifex need advic

Im on the road to rack mounting my MKIV.

I dont have a footswitch so im looking to use something like the along with my rocktron Replifex & Midi mate footswitch

Can you guys recomend the cheapest way of doing this
are the older units like Rockman Octopus any good ?

If i get something like the CFX4 will that be enough or will i need the CRX

the CFX4 would be able to to do..

eq or fx loop or rev ( one of them..)

if you have the eq on all the time and the Fx on normal and use your Fx unit for reverb you will be fine..

The octopus are great Btw..

Ok have you ever used the octopus ?
i have seen them around over the years but never used one.
I leave the EQ on all the time

So as the Midi switching go's should i go out of the midi mate into the replifex then midi though to the CFX4 ?
