Dealing with home stereos and whatnot I generally never put the volume past 12. So far with the Lonestar the highest I've put the volume is on 1. How high do you go, and is there a range where it is not safe for the amp?

I'm currently at 2:00 on the master and 12:00 on the output at 50 watts and have a pedal or 2 set above unity. I wouldn't need any higher in average band play. My 2nd ch master is at 9:00 and would be stupid loud above 12:00 with my drive at 2:30. All at 50 watts.

I played in a really loud band 2 years ago. Like this guitar dude had 2 Marshall stacks, Marshall dual mono block head, Digi tech pre amp. Bass player had a similar 3 cab rig with 2000 watts. He had like 3x15's, and 6x10's in those 3 cabs. The Drummer was unbelievably loud with like 14 pieces in his kit. Setting up my output at 2:00, solo at 3:00. and ch 1 master at 2:00, all at 100W, I was able to keep up with those power junkies. Actually they were blown away by my LSC. Blow'in out shredder leads(Barber DD) over the mix.

Out put volume always fully cranked for the last month anyway. Then I adjust gain and channel master volume to suit. You loose the solo function. No biggie other ways around that.
Not so woolly and fizzy a lot more thunk and chunk.
Probably not the best for home use :)
